XPS 435T\9000

I have an XPS Studio 435T\9000. Recent when I put in my service tag to get the drivers for my computer it shows that I have an XPS 425MT which is incorrect.  The listed drivers are also not the ones for my computer.  Anyone else have come up against this problem?

Could someone with an XPS 435T or XPS 435T\9000 login to the Dell driver support page, see if they get the right driver page and report back here.  Thanks!

You don't have to use your tag, just your model. However you need to know what hardware you actually have. That's true even if you use the tag. There might be other drivers for diff configurations that appear in the list that you don't need. The studio xps 425 and 435 are probably the same model just different manufacturing dates. There is no Studio xps 425 in the driver list to select a model, but there is a studio xps 9000 and also a studio xps 435T. See which one of those best matches your hardware listed in Device Manager. Click on Select a different product when the xps 425 comes up. Consider why you are looking for drivers. If you have not added or changed hardware or need to solve a driver problem, you should not replace any drivers.

I no longer see a Studio XPS 435T in the list of computers but there is a  Studio XPS 9000 which is essentially the same coputer with the same drivers.  I will use that, but when I enter my service tag I should not get the 435MT which is a totally different computer.  Dell need to correct this.

Believe me, they're trying.  We've had problems with the support page since early December when an update was made to the page.  Looking at it this evening, trying three different approaches to the page, one turns up a message that no files can be found, a second returns the files for the XPS 435T/9000 with the correct picture, and for a while I had one with the picture of the XPS 435MT but the correct files for the XPS 435T/9000.

All I can say is keep hanging in there.

If you don't have special hardware, Intel's download site has an online chipset installation utility.

Video drivers can usually be had from the manufacturer's site. Sometimes that holds for audio and other drivers, as well.

Typically that's how I get the drivers for my Dells ... especially since I've installed operating systems not supported for those models.
