XPS 600 w/ Windows Vista

Has anyone had any luck installing the December Beta of Windows Vista on a Dell XPS 600?  I get only as far as selecting the disk/partition to install to, but Vista can not see the SATA disk. Are there any driver files around that allow Vista to see the SATA drive?

You could try the Nvidia Sata Raid drivers available from Dell.  Load them on a floppy and install when prompted, assuming Vista installs the same way.  I installed an earlier version on a Dimension 4550, but I can't recall if it still gave you the opportunity to hit F6 to load drivers.

If that doesn't work, you should follow the procedures for reporting the porblem to Microsoft.  They should be able to point you to the correct drivers.

I am assuming your not a windows Vista beta tester since you can't even install it. and it's illegal to be installing it and illegal activities aren't allowed to be disscussed here.

You'll get better info in the Dell Vista Beta forum: http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board?board.id=vista
