XPS 8700 will not connect to an iPhone

Hello,

My Dell XPS8700 will not charge my iPhone 4S, or allow it to be recognized by iTunes.  I have tried every USB port, several different sync cables, all with same symptoms.  My phone pulses about once a second, as though it begins to charge, then disconnects then repeats this over and over.  I tried connecting my wife's iPhone, and got the exact same results, so I have ruled out a phone problem.  Have any of you experienced this, or heard about similar problems?

Hi barkinatya,

It seems like the phone is not getting recognized on the system due to the faulty drivers. I would suggest you to open the device manager on your system and then connect the iphone to the system and reply us with the snapshot of the device manager.
