XPS vs Inspiron desktops
What is the advantage of purchasing an XPS 8300 over an Inspiron 620 other than the XPS has a larger case and power supply?
I intend to purchase a PC with an i5 processor, 8GB ram, 1,000 GB hard drive and a HD 6450 video card. Is the XPS worth the extra cost?

Yes it is if you are a user who likes to upgrade, play games or are a heavy user. The Inspirons are good bargains for basic use--web surfing, email and for those users who never open the case. They have integrated sound and video and lower powered power supplies. They make great second or third computers. You have to consider how you use a computer.
