Xeon L54xx CPU on Precision T5400

So I managed to get one old T5400 workstation and was thinking to update it a little bit with second CPU. However, I was not really happy about adding additional E5420 which spends extra 80W, and wanted to try with L5420 with 50W rating.

Current plan is to ditch E5420 and install two L5420, which is still fairly cheap, but will consume almost 50% less power.

However, I am not sure if this CPU is supported in T5400. Does anyone have any experiences - will Xeon L5420 or similar of low power processors work in it?
