annoying bleeping noise

Question

Can anyone help? Just got a new Demensions computer and about every 10 seconds it makes a bleeping noise. I have no idea what it is and can't figure out how to stop it.

What Model Dimension and what Operating System.    Also, go into the Volume Control panel and mute each sound type, one at a time, and see if you can find out which one it is.  May help to track it down.   Also check the startup programs in the Sys Tray (lower right corner) to see if one of those is causing it.
