atikmpag.sys blue screen windows 7

I have been having crashes while using my Dell Inspiron N4050.  I have re-installed the drivers for my video card and display adapter, but the crashes continue.  The blue screen cites atikmpag.sys as the culprit. This is the error message it is givng me.

It has gotten rather annoying and I can't seem to figure out how to fix it.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Reinstalling Drivers does not fix a bad GPU fan. There are no soft fixes for physically bad hardware.  Overheating GPU is a very specific error.
