dell dimension xps r450 processor upgrade

for all those who have an old dell dimension xps r450 it is posable to go to a pIII processor many say its not supported but if u have the a09 bios u can put a pIII processor in it i have my specs are

thats with a 550 pIII prosessor as soon as i can i will be putting a 1.0ghz into itand i will post on how well it works

It is possible - just make sure you get the 100 MHz bus version;  the 133 won't work.

One link within that page, however, no longer works, and that was the one with pictures and details that I used.

your right now i need a 100mhz bus speed p3 processor i have the slot 1 convertor card
