dimension 4550 fan placement after installing 2nd hard drive

I have added a second hard drive to my 4550.  In order to do so, the fan had to be removed from the second hard drive bay.  where do I reinstall it?  And apparently the direction also matters...........  It does not seem to fit into the bay above with the floppy drive (and there are no screws to seat the brackets anyway.  But not sure this is even desirable if I can figure out how to mount it as it would be in the bay above the hard drives and aimed at the cases vs circuit boards (I guess unless it is pointed away to pull air from them.........  In any case any solutions as to where/hoe to reinstall the fan?
