e-mail help

hi there can anyone please help me ive just purchased a new dell Dimension e520 desktop computer,when and only when i go surfing the internet and viewing pages if there is a link to e-mail them i click on it and at least 40 blank pages pop up and then nothing happens as i have to close it down.This only happens when on web pages and not directly through my e-mail. thanks

Hi,

1)you can try to downlaod and install any pop up blocker software

2)Open a internet explorer page and click on tools, internet options, then click on the advanced tab. You will have an option that says "enable third party browser extension." if you have the option checked, please uncheck this option, if it is not checked, try checking the option, click on apply and ok.

3) If the problem still persists, create a new user account by clicking on start -> control panel -> User accounts -> Create a new user account. once this is done, logoff and login into the new user account. If everything works fine there, you can transfer your files from old user account to the new one.
