533 fsb or 800 fsb
Hello, just a quick question. Whats the difference between 533 fsb and 800 fsb (besides 267 Mhz)? When would you notice a difference? I have a 4600 with 2.8 Mhz and 533 fsb, I purchased this computer @ 2 months ago and I'm wondering if I should have gotten a more powerful processor? Would a 3.0 Mhz HT 800 fsb make a big difference? Would it be easy to upgrade and @ how much would it cost? I know there are a lot of question wraped up in this one thread but any help would be appreciated.

The difference would be significant; however, if you upgrade, your warranty will be affected.
The CPU will cost you about $200-250 for a 3.0C/800; you'll likely also need new PC3200 RAM, at about $120 for 512 MBytes - whether it's worth $320-370 to upgrade is really up to you.

If your a performance buff you'll notice it, slightly
