Dell XPS 8300 wont go to sleep or go to screensaver mode
I have tried everything I can think of.
-Have gone to control panel and adjusted power settings
-Have updated drivers
-have use internal power "troubleshoot" program
-Have clicked F2 when the computer starts, looked in the BIOS and everything looks normal
-Have restored to original factory setting
Can anyone thing of anyone else I might do before I take it to the shop?

Hi A Gonzales,
This is normally caused by a device that will not allow the system to become idle. My suggestion would be to try this Windows 7 troubleshooter.
