Enable/Disable VT in BIOS on an XPS 600?

Subject says it all. I'm tryign to create an XP64 VMWare image and VMWare tells me basically that I have to run a utility to confirm if I even have VT/64EMT (which it does confirm is OK) and then to change a setting in my BIOS when I boot from the XP64 CD (which I don't see an option for -- am I blind?).

For giggles I did the following

- Ran VMware-guest64check-5.5.0-18463.exe and got a thumbs up (host is capable of running a 64-bit based operating system under this VMWare product)

- Created a new VM for XP 64, started it and got ==> This CPU is VT-capable, but VT is not enabled (check your BIOS settings).
You have configured this virtual machine as a 64-bit guest operating system. However, this host's CPU is not capable of running 64-bit virtual machines or this virtual machine has 64-bit support disabled.

- used a local XP 64 iso image to boot the VM (after clicking OK to the above error message), and then got "attempting to load an x64 operating system, however this CPU is not compatable with x64 mode. Please install a 32-bit X86 operating system. Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit."

Per documentation, I can't find anything about an option to enable/disable VT in the BIOS as in other capbable machines

                      On enables Virtualization. Off disables Virtualization.

 

Ceating a physical XP64 machine seems to be no problem.
