How do I reset the MBEx password to adjust iamt?

How do I reset the MBEx password to adjust iamt?  I must have changed it in 2009 when I turned iamt off (because it was causing problems).  Can't remember.  How do I reset the MEBx password to its default, which is admin?  (Or to anything else?)

This is for an Optiplex 755 Desktop.

Thanks.

Bump.  Dell over-charged me by adding this iAMT to my home PC - which has no place or function on a home PC.  Now it's become a problem - again.  I need an answer to this obscure question because it might interfere with my installation of Win 7.

You have to pull the battery or Use the RTC Reset Jumper.

You didn't say what model dell you have.

the password does not get set back to it's factory default (admin) via the "Reset to Factory Defaults" option

a jumper or removing the battery accomplishes this

The default password, which is the same on all newly deployed systems, is admin. When you first enter the Intel MEBx using the default password, you must change the password before you can use any Intel MEBx features.
