Optiplex 745 Small Form Factor Upgrade
Since I don't want a brand new computer, I'm sticking by my optiplex, but I want to play my "newer" games, so I went looking online for a video card to fit my gaming needs. I came around the Asus Radeon HD 6770 that seems to be compatible with my games, like Fallout 3 and the new SimCity, but now I'm wondering, will it be compatible for my computer? I keep hearing things about it but the statements aren't from people who actually know Dell products, If it's not compatible and I have to update some other parts, I'll just stick with a video card that is not that powerful.

The HD 6770 will not work. The SFF will only take low profile video cards and you are limited by your 275 watt power supply. You won't find anything with the performance of the HD 6770 that will fit in the case. Your best bet will be the HD 6570, HD 6670, HD 7750, R7 240 or R7 250. All must be low profile and come with low profile brackets since you will have to change over from the full size bracket attached. An example of the R7 250 is linked.

Low profile is only HALF of the requirement. The socket clearly says 25W max so any card other than HD5450 is going to be outside spec.
The card must be passive and 1 slot wide.

No. It's not a low profile card like this one HERE. However, you have to make sure it comes with low profile brackets. Also, make sure you update your bios first before installing the card.

That one is for a mini tower.
Recommended card for All models EXCEPT USFF is ASUS Silent 6450.
