XPS 8500 Unsupported Windows 10 drivers
DVD player will not operate on my XPS 8500 after Windows 10 upgrade. Can't understand that my system is only 2-1/2 years old and it's not supported. TSSTcorp DVD+-RW SH-216CB SCSI CdRomDevice. Device status indicates it is working properly, but no, it's not. Driver date is 6/21/2006; version 10.0.10240.16384
Looking for help getting my DVD player to work again, please.

Windows 10 does not have native capabilities to play a DVD. Install VLC player to get DVD playback:
