trouble with 5900 graphic card
is the AGP slot on a dimension 8200 a 1.0 or 2.0 because i just installed card and i have a blank screen when i turn on power. i have a 250 watt power supply and it calls for a 300 watt, but i dont think thats the problem

Try reaseating the card first. Many people on this site have installed videocards in an 8200. I remember there were problems with 5900 BFG brand cards, try doing a search (is very slow but effective) of this site. That card does work if the card is good and the power connector is connected. (Maybe someone reading this has succeeded with the 8200 and 5900 combination?)
