AWS S3 LifecycleFilter functionality in ECS?
Hi @all,
IHAC who wants automatically delete objects where the retention time is over.
They want to use the AWS S3 funtionality "Lifecycle Filter" with "Object Tagging".
I told them that we offer "Bucket Lifecycle" with ECS, but they don't want to add a Prefix for retention in their object-ID.
Are there plans to support "Lifecycle Filter" with "Object Tagging" in our S3 SDK?

Hi Matthias,
Thanks for sharing this requirement.
Supporting object tagging is on our roadmap and when we support that, it will be possible to use tags as a filter in the lifecycle rule to select a subset of objects.
