Exam Retake -E20-007

I recently wrote E20 -007 - and cleared.

However i got mail saying that - i need to retake the exam after 3 months due to security issues.

The cost of E20 -007 is $200. However when i enquired EMC they said the Following :

"

You are free to attempt the exam again at a Pearson VUE exam center after the 90 day wait period ends.

Pearson VUE requires an exam fee each time an exam is attempted."

I am confused - that do i need to pay $200 ? to retake it after 3 months ??

or

do i need to pay some amount(not sure howmuch) to Pearson vue for conducting it??

pls. someone help me in explaining this clearly ...

When exam results are invalidated it is the responsibility of the candidate to pay the exam fee to re-take the exam.  There is a 90 day wait period from the date the invalidated exam was taken.  The candidate may schedule to re-take the exam as long as the date is after the wait period is over.
