Hi Jerry,
Earning the EMC Proven EMCISA credential along with your existing ICSE and ICSP credentials will qualify for the EMC Isilon Implementation Engineer Specialist certification grandfathering.
Please note that this gradfathered credential will be valid only until 3/31/14. It is recommended to pass the E20-357 Isilon Specialist exam for Implementation Engineers on or before 3/31/14 (given that EMCISA is earned as well) to earn the Implementation Engineer, Isilon Solution Specialist Version 1.0 credential.

I don't know if they will be converted. I took the new yet similar EMC Isilon exams at EMC World 2013.
E20-357 Isilon Solutions Specialist Exam for Implementation Engineers - English - (ENU)
100-045 Isilon Certified Storage Professional Exam for OneFS 6.5 - English - (ENU)

Besides having the 2 Isilon certs I have, the original proven associate level certification along w/ multiple proven specialist certification. How does that play into the grandfathering aspect?

Yes, that would qualify for the grandfathering and the resulting grandfathered credential will have a limited validity until March 2014.
