Dell Command Update? or update drivers as needed?

Hello,

My company is just moving from Windows 7 to Windows 10. There are a lot of changes in how the operating system is being managed by Microsoft. Windows as a service right?

We are considering moving from a NEVER touch those drivers unless something is broken to an always up-to-date drivers approach using Dell Command Update. It seems Microsoft always wants everything to be up to date and the theory is that the latest drivers from Dell are the only ones guaranteed to work on the latest version of Windows 10 as it is moving so fast.

Does that theory hold true? What are you other techs out there doing to manage drivers? Is it important to keep them up-to-date or does that seem to cause more instability in the long run?
