Optiplex 7020 and M.2 PCIe NVME

Does the UEFI for the Optiplex 7020 support booting from PCIe M.2 NVME? I have upgraded to the latest FW image, A10, and have reconfigured to boot UEFI with GPT. The SSD is a Samsung PM961 in an adapter card mounted in the PCIe GEN3 slot.

I can successfully load WIN10 using a USB key to the SATA HDD to prove that I was building the WIN10 image correctly. When I disable SATA in BIOS and then use the USB key to load WIN10 on the M.2 PCIe NVME, when I reboot, the system says there is no boot device. It does not see the PCIe NVME device,

What are my options?

AustinDave02, Did you ever found the answer to your question? I am in the same hole and cant get the NVMe to boot. Please let me know if you have the answer. Thanks in advance!

Even though the Intel chip set supports NVMe boot, the Dell Bios for the Optiplex 7020 does not. Bottom line, I can't boot from NVMe on this computer.
