Luns on RAID 5 Faulted
Hi,
I have a RAID 5 Group with 6 drives, 1 of the drives has gone bad and the LUNS are now showing in Faulted state.
Is there a way to recover from this ? Why did a RAID 5 Group fail?
Any way to recover data from thes luns?
This is on a CLariion CX 240 ?

In this case, the luns in faulted state were inaccessible from the hosts.

faulted does not mean raid group is offline, it just mean you have failure in that raid group and need to replace the failed drive.

raid-5 should be able to survive one drive failure, something else is going on with your array ...i would get in touch with EMC support.
