Stop the madness. --- This message was generated by the Dell EqualLogic SAN Headquarters service (version 3.0.0.7189) running on vcenterserver.kembacu.org The following condition on Group WESTCHESTER (192.168.50.16) has generated an alert notification: Critical conditions: * 5/15/2014 1:39:37 PM * [ID: 14.2] Unable to establish connection. * The SAN HQ server issued SNMP requests at the group, some or all of which failed. This condition is likely due to network congestion or failed network connectivity. The server will retry within 60 seconds. Check your network connectivity and check that the storage group is online. If the problem persists, contact your Dell support provider for assistance. NOTE: To customize e-mail alert notification launch an instance of the SAN HeadQuarters Client then: 1. Uncheck event ID 14.2 (under critical)  and apply the change to all your groups.. Keep in mind that a restart of the service is needed to take effect of the changes.

Where exactly?  Details please.  We unchecked all SNMP items in HQ.  Like a rogue alert.

Welcome to the club. There are already a couple of [tag:SR] pending about that issue and its already identified and confirmed by DELL Support. It will be fixed within the next release.

For a temporary workaround you can disabled this alarm in SANHQ.

Joerg

There is SANHQ 3.0.1 available from eqlsupport.dell.com/.../download.aspx

From the release notes:

Items Fixed in SAN HQ Version 3.0.1

The following issue has been fixed in the SAN Headquarters version 3.0.1 maintenance release:

Previously, after upgrading to SAN HQ 3.0, the SAN HQ server might not connect to groups running firmware version 7 and higher, and SAN HQ issued an alert (SAN HQ Event ID: 14.2) stating that some or all SNMP requests at the group failed.

This condition is resolved.

FYI, on our SAN HQ server, we had to enable Compatibility View on IE 11 with Windows 2008 R2 server to get the Download button to show correctly.

Hi Guys

Sorry to beat a dead horse but to me this looks like the latest thread on this issue.

We are still having this problem with SAN HQ 3.0.2 and two EqualLogic with FW 7.1.5!

Just to backup the guys above me.

Is there a solution to this by now or do I rely need to disable this to get rid of it?
