EqualLogic PS6000XV Bad Blocks
I have an EqualLogic PS6000XV configured with one RAID10 member split into two volumes and connected via iSCSI to a XenServer 6.5 pool. All drives are online (except for the two spares, of course) and seemingly working normally for XenServer but the SAN is reporting the presence of bad blocks.:
su exec 'raidtool':
Driver Status: Ok
RAID LUN 0 Ok.
*!! RAID LUN contains 3064 lost blocks. !!*
(raidtool -W 0) clears blocks.
(raidtool -w 0) lists blocks.
14 Drives (15,2,4,6,8,14,12,1,0,5,7,9,11,13)
RAID 10 (64KB sectPerSU)
Capacity 4,032,830,111,744 bytes
Available Drives List: 3,10
Because the volumes are up and running, can I just issue the su exec 'raidtool -W 0' command to remove the bad blocks or do I need to do something else to clear the warning health status on the member?

Don -
Thanks for your response. These lost blocks are part of a volume, not a snapshot, as we have no snapshots. We are running firmware release 6.0.7. This particular unit is out of warranty so I cannot open a regular support call.
