Equallogic Critical Notifications after Firmware update from v5.0.4 to v5.1.2
Since the firmware update to v5.1.2 on our storage arrays, we have been receiving critical notification alerts. "Critical: Disk firmware on drive # for member (name) is out of date."
Has anyone seen this condition and how was it resolved? It goes without saying, if you are thinking of similar fw update, I would hold off. Any tips/advice appreciated.
Thx.

Sorry, but it appears that one or more of your array physical disks have outdated firmware. You will need to update your disk firmware. This is a separate update and doesn’t require a restart of the array. Please go to the support site at: http://bit.ly/EqlSecL (EqualLogic Support site, valid support contract username and password required). Once logged in, enter the url’s listed below to find out which one you require.
Drive Firmware Update DFW001b
For the PS3000XV, PS4000XV, PS5000XV, PS6000XV arrays running firmware v4.3.5 or later

Drive Firmware Update DFW002b
For the PS6000S, PS6010S, PS6000XVS, PS6010XVS
