Equallogic Email notification spamming!

Question

Hi All, Email notification keeps spamming whenever there is a issue from the same host. Every email had only 4 events in it. Documentation says 'The group attempts to combine multiple events into a single e-mail message to reduce the number of sent messages. A message will be delayed three minutes at most.'. But I got 280 emails in just 2 minutes.  Here is a screenshot of the errors in the logs. As you can see, the issue was with just one host, but every attempt was  a unique session (based on the port number??) so it kept triggering email alerts. Is there anyway reduce the time period of the email alerts and merge more events instead of just 4?

Btw, I'm not concerned about the error because it was a part of maintenance. I just don't want it to trigger 100's of emails if something goes down in future.

Member firmware version is 02.03. Is there any additional features in the latest firmwares?

Array Firmware version is 5.0.4. What's in the latest version? Is there anything that could help me with this issue?

SAN HQ is your answer, 1 email is all we need for an issue alert period, us Admins are already stressed, it also needs to send 1 email on resolve too.  Hey EQL, make our lives less stressful.  ;  >
