Equallogic PS4000 replacing failed disk with bigger disk

I have one failed disk in PS4000. Now I need to replace that disk, but is it possible to replace current failed disk with compatible but bigger disk?

See the attached picture. I use RAID 50 and all the disks are now 300GB except one spare disk which was replaced in this same situation earlier this year. Now I have a 600GB disk, is it ok to hot swap that? Or does it break the raid?

Hello,

Presuming that the drive is a Dell branded 600GB in a PS4000 carrier, yes it will work.  Only 300GB of the 600GB drive will be used.
