Its a set of programms. Most likely you are searching for the MEM (Multipath Extension Module) and VSM (Virtual Storage Manager) formaly know as ASM/VE. The Later one is the "plugin" for the connection between your EQL Group and vSphere vCenter. Its only usable within the "new" vSphere WebClient and not for the old c# one.

I have installed the VSM on my vsphere 5.5. all configured as per user guide.
but the VSM does not show up on my vsphere home page.
do I need to install the MEM first ?

the VSM is finally appearing on the vcentre.
but I cannot add the storage group.
my vmware network is 10.199.99.0.24.
my storage network is 192.168.0.1/24.
do I need to add a 2nd network on the VSM?

it works after I add the iSCSI network into the 2nd NIC.
it did not work previously because I used a similar IP as one of the NIC
