How to enable the interface via CLI GUI
We have EqualLogic ps6100E. Tried configuring dedicated managment network. Configure and Enable 5 ethernet port for managment network. Connected to this port network cable - managment network worked. After that decided to revert it back, but did it wrong and turned off 5 port via the Web GUI - managment network lost. How to enable this port through CLI GUI? Unfortunately, I do not have a document CLI Reference for EqualLogic storage and I do not know all the comands. Please help.

If you have a valid support contract, the GUI and CLI User Guides are at support.equallogic.com.
Configuring the Management Network (this is a very brief description, please get the CLI guide for complete details, from support.equallogic.com).
Setup of the Management Network IP’s on the highest eth interface:
Configure the highest eth interface with an IP address and subnet mask that is NOT on the iSCSI network
>member select [member_name]
>eth select [eth_highest#]
>ipaddress [IP address] netmask [address]
>mgmt-only enable
>show
Verify all your settings.
After you verify the setting, then use “up” to enable the interface
>up
>exit all
Note, You need to configure management interface on the highest eth port for each member in the group with a unique IP address!
Enable Management network for the Group (this step is done after you configure the highest eth interfaces for with the management IP's for ALL members):
You need to enable the management network and assign a unique Management IP (on the same subnet as the interfaces setup for the management port)
Now enable the management network IP address (this is like the iSCSI group IP, but is used to connect to the management network from other systems). This address must be unique and different from the management ip address you entered for each eth interface.
>grpparams
>management-network ipaddress [mgmt_address]
>management-network show
>exit all
Removal of the Management Network:
>grpparams
>management-network ipaddress none
>management-network show
>exit all
>member select [member name]
>eth select [eth_highest#]
> down
>ipaddress none
> mgmt-only disable
You can now reconfiguring the eth interface for iSCSI, and assign a IP address on the iSCSI subnet and bring the interface up
> ipaddress [iscsi_ip] netmask [addresss]
>show
>up
>exit all
Do this for each member in the group!
Remember at each step you can use the “?” to see the options for that command.

Thank you very much, it works. This equipment is bought in a few companies, I do not have any documents at all. So I can not register and get access to support. And because of that I can not register, so I can not get the document CLI Reference :(

How do i identify the [eth_highest#] from the CLI?
We already had a web management interface defined, with an assigned IP address, which is responding to ping but not accepting connections from a browser.
Using the CLI, how do I find the currently installed interface?

Thank you Don, that's enabled me to get to the bottom of my problem.
Somehow the management interface has grabbed a different IP from the one it was assigned, and the same MAC address is now showing on a port scan as having its original IP, and the one its now reponding on.
Very peculiar, but at least I'm back up and running.
