Hello,
There is no recommended size, the maximum possible volume size on an EQL array is 15TB.

You should Update your EQL to FW 9.1.x or 10.x together with the Drive FW 13.x

Also is you need more than 15TB, you can use mount points to create a larger effective space. Striping 15TB volumes is another option. In Linux LVM can create a larger space out of smaller volumes as well.

Thanks, my EQL is already updated to 10. I just needed to have a larger volume, but will break it up into three 15tb.
