PS6110 Console Access
Hi,
I'm triying to initialize an EqualLogic PS6110 using the serial connection but I can't get it to work. I don't think it's a cable issue because I use it to access an old PS6010 successfully.
Any suggestions? I've tried with the active and the stand by controller and still I get no answer from the Storage.
I will be grateful if you can send me any information.

9600/8/1/n and try another cable. Each EQLs comes with 2 cables which are very standard. All the old powerconnect switch use the same.
If serial doenst work you can try the RSW (Remote setup wizzward) which try via broadcast to find the array. So you have to be in the same subnet.

I've tried different cables and all of them work with the PS6010 but the PS6110 does not respond to them.
I haven't tried yet the RSW because we have only VMware machines and i need to prepare a Windows Machine, but when we tried to connect the controller to the network the ports doesn't come up automatically and I can't establish a link between the Storage and the Switch. We've tried to connect directly to a server and still the ports appears disconnected.
