I didn't see it listed in the hardware manual (110_6178_EN-R1_FS7600_Hardware_Owners_Manual) do you know if the USB drive is part of the HDD interposer assembly?
Also can the ISOs serve as a means of restoring (recovery) as they could in v3.0.920760? If so it might be faster for me to use the latest ISO to save time rather than recovering to an older version & then upgrading later via group manager.

You can reload the FluidFS OS from an internal USB drive.
