Snapshot question/issue with SmartCopies...

Question

So I am using the HIT for VMware to do my snapshots. I set it to only keep 4 per a 24 hour period (does it every 6 hours). When I go into the Autosnapshot manager via vCenter everything looks fine. But every few weeks I am getting messages that I am running low on snapshot space so I happen to go into the EQL GUI and take a look at the volume. I clicked on the volume then clicked Snapshots tab. It shows I have 17 snapshots and they are all greyed out. So I am assuming this is my issues as if I delete oldest to only keep 4 of the newest I have a lot more space. This is happening on my other volumes. Can anyone explain to me why this is happening and how i can prevent this? Thanks.

I am not running any schedule from the GUI and I am doing the schedule via VM Folders for the SmartCopies.
