Using EQ Group Manager with Java 7
Oracle is dropping support for Java 6. How do I get Grp Mgr to work with java 7? I have a PS 5000 at fw version 6.02.
Thanks.

Thanks, Don, but how did you get that to work? When I removed java 6 and tried to run GM, it prompts me to install java 6 update 24. How do I get it to work with the Java 7 I have installed?

Thanks. It wasn't actually the cache, but your answer led me to the solution. I didn't have the correct version of TLS set in the internet options advanced settings.

I believe I'm running into a similar issue. What changes to your TLS settings did you need to make?

I have TLS 1.2 enabled in the Internet Options control panel, Advanced tab. I just updated to JRE 7 upd21 and tested. It gave me a brief error when I loaded Grp Mgr, but then it came up and looks good.

I'm using a PS6100XS on firmware 6.0.4, and as soon as I upgrade to Java 7, I can't get it to work. I tried enabling TLS 1.2 on both Internet Options and Java Advanced options, and I've tried the big 3 browsers, and still no dice. I'm on Win8, if that makes a difference. Anyone else have this working?

Hmm, I'm having almost the opposite experience. If I have Java 6 installed, it works totally fine. As soon as I install Java 7 it breaks entirely, and removing Java 7 fixes it immediately. I've opened a case with support, so hopefully we're figure it out.
