iSCSI connection failures after KB4497934

Question

Hi all,

with latest KB4497934 on Server 2019, I see iSCSI problems:

Event 43, "Target failed to respond in time for a login request.". Based on this connections to iSCSI disk sometimes work, sometimes not.

After uninstalling this update, errors are gone.

Anyone else with similar issues, or even a solution?

Hello,

Yes, many users are reporting that after installing that patch the problem you describe occurs.

As of right now the only solution is to remove the KB.
