MD3000i & PowerConnect 5424 - re-IP environment

Currently in our environment we have 4 Linux servers connected to 1 MD3000i storage array via a Dell PowerConnect 5424 switch.

Here is the current environment settings:

Linux Svr 1 (LS1)
eth0-10.0.50.224
eth1-10.0.50.225

Linux Svr 2 (LS2)
eth0-10.0.50.226
eth1-10.0.50.227

Linux Svr 3 (LS3)
eth0-10.0.50.228
eth1-10.0.50.229

Linux Svr 4 (LS4)
eth0-10.0.50.230
eth1-10.0.50.231

eth0 of each Linux server is connected to the main company network.
eth1 of each Linux server is connected to the 5424 switch.

The PowerConnect 5424 is configured as 10.0.50.232 & has a cable connected to the main company network. In addition to the cables to each Linux server, 2 cables are connected from the PowerConnect to the MD3000i storage array. The PowerConnect was minimally configured with the IP address only. No routing or complicated configuration was done.

On the MD3000i storage array, the 2 connections from the PowerConnect are set as 10.0.50.236 & 10.0.50.237. The mgmt port is connected to the main company network and is configured as 10.0.91.235. The array is named ABCarray.

With this setup, I was able to assign storage space from the MD3000i to each of the Linux servers. The Linux servers recognized the additional space & have applications & files installed & running on the assigned space.

(continued...)

Now after 6 months we would like to take the PowerConnect & the MD3000i array & assign separate IP addressing scheme on those devices so that we can reallocate the original IP addresses for other means. I tried the following setup in our environment but the Linux server does not recognize the array.

Here is the new environment settings:

LS1-changed eth1 only-192.168.50.225
LS2-changed eth1 only-192.168.50.227
LS3-changed eth1 only-192.168.50.229
LS4-changed eth1 only-192.168.50.231

eth0 of each Linux server is connected to the main company network.
eth1 of each Linux server is connected to the PowerConnect 5424 switch.

The PowerConnect 5424 is configured as 192.168.50.232 & the cable connected to the main company network was pulled. In addition to the cables to each Linux server, 2 cables are connected from the PowerConnect to the MD3000i storage array. No additional configurations were done to the PowerConnect. Only the IP scheme was updated.

On the MD3000i storage array, the 2 connections from the PowerConnect were set as 192.168.50.236 & 192.168.50.237. The management port is connected to the main company network and is configured as 10.0.91.235. The array is still named ABCarray.

On the Linux servers, the iSCSI configuration was updated to point to 192.168.50.236 & 192.168.50.237. After restarting the service, the iSCSI configuration recognizes the IPs but can't see the ABCarray.

What items have I missed & what additional items do I need to update? Please let me know if you need additional info too?

Thank you very much.
