@ duker - have you checked out the Exam and Practice Tests page in the community?  This page lists all EMC Proven Professional exams with links to the exam description document and practice test.  The exam description document not only details what to expect on exam content but also the recommended curriculum.

Be sure to work with your management team to prepare for this exam.  There may be training packages available to you through your company as a partner.

Best of luck on the exam - love to hear how it goes!

Hi Duker,

Good call doing the ISM course first, it is the foundation for all the certification tracks. I recommend purchasing the book and using it as a study guide or do some of the online courses. If you are already working with storage systems the concepts will be familiar. https://education.emc.com/ismbookv2/

E20-390 is meant for EMC partners in the Velocity program (EMCIE Certification). It's the Implementation Engineer track. Do you work for EMC or a Velocity Partner ? Only partners/employees can take the EMC training for this track.

If you are a customer, you may be better doing E20-547 VNX Solutions exam, which will be the Storage Administrator (EMCSA) track.

The training is open and you can get good Valuepaks for self paced training if you can't get on the Instructor Led course. They are also often on sale, or discounted.

Hope this helps.

Hey

I've chosen that way now.

Do you know is there any good material for the "E20-390 VNX Solutions Specialist Excam for Implmenetation Engineers" to learn with? Is there a book?

As already mentioned i visited the course MR-7CP-VNXUNIIMP but this was last year so i need to refresh my mind =)

Thanks

Hi Duker - this would be your direct manager; the person you report to.
