VNX Unified Solution Design Formulas

Question

Hi I currently carry a Clarrion TA, NAS TA and Symmetrix TA.  I am currently busy with my VNX TA Exam and have passed E20-545 successfully.  I just want to check if anyone has a summary of the formulas required to pass the E20-324 Exam as it is not very clear from the study material.  I am using the VILT and have gone through all the collateral and I think a summary sheet will be very helpful not just for the exam but also during solution design and sizing tasks for customer environments. Hi Rudolf,

The TA program is not something that I am directly involved in. I did sit the Solution Design class a while ago, in pre-VNX days, and one pre-req was an understanding of calculating drive requirements. Does the following link help:

It may or may not... not sure. What formulas did you have in mind?

Thanks, that is very helpful, I passed the exam on Friday but still think its a good idea to design a kind of quick reference formula sheet for working out performance, bandwidth requirements, etc.

Dont know if anyone else out there is keen to contribute?
