80 mm cd stuck in drive e on XPS M1330
I put the cd in the slip drive and expected the eject function to work when i touched it. It didn't. I unscrewed the removable parts on the computer but I was unable to access the drive. The keyboard (which is structurally on top of the drive) is unremovable. Any idea of how to get the cd w/o taking it to be repaired. I no longer have the service warranty.

Depending on how daring you are, you could try following the steps given on

I noticed one person in the comments had the same problem as you but hasn't had any replies yet.

i have the same problem with any size CD, honestly not the best design in the world considering almost every computer experiences a disc jam at least once. i finally got mine out by clicking restart, then when it says windows is shutting down, push the button wait a second, if no disc try it a few more times before it shuts completely down. but for future reference don't stick those "fun sized" cd's into your slot drive because most of the time when they eject they get jammed.

Try doing it in software. Right click on the drive and click "eject." I've got a laptop that never seems to get the message when I push the button, but "eject" works.

hey mayajanea, just wondering if you've ever got the mini disc out? i'm facing the same problem and i'm out of warranty too. i think sending to the service center will cost a bomb!
