Confused with Core i5-460M & i5-560M processors
Hi..i am planning to buy Dell Xps15 laptop from us.
I am confused whether to go with i5-460 or 560 processor.
If i go with 460M should i go for 4gb ram or 6gb ram????
Does 6gb ram will be having any compatible issue with 460M processor and do not give optimum performance???
Configuration of my laptop which i have planned to buy:
System Color and LCD:
Silver Anodized Aluminum 15.6" FHD (1080p)
B+RGLED Display with Facial Recognition
Operating System:
Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64bit,English
Processor:
Intel® Core™ i5-560M (2.66GHz, 4 threads, turbo boost up to 3.33Ghz, 3M cache) or
Intel® Core™ i5-460M (2.53GHz, 4 threads, turbo boost up to 2.8Ghz, 3M cache)
Video Card:
NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 420M 1GB graphics with Optimus
420MUS 1 [320-1665] 6
Memory:
4GB or 6GB Shared Dual Channel DDR3 Memory????????
Hard Drive:
500GB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive
Battery:
92 WHr 9-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery
For which Processor and RAM should i go???????????????????
Thanks n advance

No one will be able to help much unless you tell us what you plan to run on the system. All else equal, the faster CPU and more RAM are usually better - how much better depends on what you plan to do with the system.
For everyday use - browsing, word processing, etc. there will be little or no difference between the two CPUs, and you won't notice much difference with the extra 2G of RAM.
