Dell Battery warranty
I have a user that has a computer that went out of warranty in July, he replaced his battery 6 months ago and now it is not holding a charge. Is the battery warranty on the replacement battery the same as the new batteries, 1 year?

The battery if it is purchased new from dell it has 1 year warranty, but the replacement battery given by the dell techs for the faulty ones will have 90 days warranty only ......

Yes, for Dell batteries purchased from Dell. For Dell batteries purchased elsewhere or third-party batteries, contact the vendor of the battery.

That is true ONLY if the system warranty is shorter than that. Warranty replacement parts, batteries included, are warranted for 90 days OR the remainder of the system warranty (up to one year) for the battery.
