Dell Inc. Inspiron 3542 - Screen flickering while connection to hdmi with projector.
Dear Support,
While connecting dell inspiron 3542 laptop hdmi cable to projector, screen will be flickering.
I have update the drivers, change the resolution but nothing happened, whenever connect laptop to projector screen will be flickering.
How to resolve this issue ? can i purchase a vga to hdmi converter and then connect.

Hi,
Does it happens only on projector or on a monitor as well??
If its a port issue, then a vga-hdmi connector wouldnt help.
Try to wiggle the cable holding near to the HDMI port on laptop and observe if any difference.

Thank you for your reply & sorry for the late reply.
I have checked this with HDMI cable to a monitor & its working fine.
So can you please suggest, why there is a flickering issue with projector.
and one more thing in this case hdmi to vga adpater is useful or not.
