Dell Inspiron 14z: 4 loud beeps (RAM reseated, problem persisting--REPOST ON DIFFERENT ACCOUNT; reply here)

I've had my inspiron since 2011, so of course, my warranty is no longer valid the one time that I need it. I haven't had many issues with it, aside from the fact that the battery is no longer functional and the laptop needs to be plugged into a power source whenever it's in use (which is partially my own problem, but I don't necessarily have the money for a new battery at the moment). I don't use this laptop heavily (in terms of programs or gaming)--just internet. Because it needs to be plugged into a power source whenever its in use, it doesn't leave the house either (needing to keep it plugged in is a major inconvenience).
Today, I attempted to turn my laptop on after plugging it into a power source as usual. When pressing the power button, it lit up, along with the three buttons in the upper right hand corner. Nothing displayed on the screen/the screen remained black and unresponsive. Then, four loud beeps, pause, four loud beeps, pause, until I turned the computer off. With a little research, I found that the four loud beeps were likely due to memory failure and reseated the RAM multiple times with no response.
What now?

Hi deno.mj,
4 Beeps on startup on an Inspiron 14z means a RAM read/write failure. I’d suggest that you follow the steps mentioned below and check for issue resolution.
1. Switch off the computer.
2. Disconnect the AC adapter from the system.
3. Remove the battery from the computer.
4. Press and hold down the power button for 15 seconds.
5. Then connect back all the peripherals and check if you are able to turn on the system.
I would suggest you to remove each memory one at a time on the system and try starting the system again after performing the above steps.

Was unable to power up the system after holding down the power button for 15 seconds. Removed one memory, attempted to reboot computer. I was able to reboot the computer after removing one memory. Do I need a replacement memory?

Hi deno.mj,
We will have to isolate the issue is with the RAM slot or RAM modules installed in the computer.
I’d suggest you to replace only one RAM in different slot each time and check if the system is switching ON.
Also, I would suggest that you run the diagnostics on the computer by following the steps mentioned in the video below and check if there is any issue with the hardware on your system.
