Dell International Warranty ?
Dear All,
My friend is visiting me from US and I wanted to buy a laptop from USA DELL OUTLET.
Question, Will my warranty be covered if I am in DOWN UNDER (AUS) ?

Remember that to transfer internationally, you must pay for an upgrade to an onsite service plan (the basic 12-month return to depot warranty isn't transferable internationally), AND the model you buy must be sold in the market where you wish to use the system (i.e., DO NOT buy a model not sold in Australia, as it will not be supported there).

the laptop is available in australia as well priced at $1000.
From the US outlet this is available at $500 with 3 years warranty.Not sure if we can buy the onsite warranty from the outlet store ?
Current Warranty details are:
1. Basic Hardware Service: Next Business Day Limited Onsite Service After Remote Diagnosis Initial Year
2. Basic Hardware Service: Next Business Day Limited Onsite Service After Remote Diagnosis 2 Year Extended

Hi Rajy13,
The price of differs from region to region, To purchase extended warranty you have to contact the Dell support and place the order for the warranty.
The international warranty is support only if the system has a Next Business day warranty.
