Dell N5050 and windows 10

I have the Dell Inspiron N5050 and want to install Windows 10.

BUT............

On their site the statement says....

Product not tested for Windows 10 upgrade

Dell is not testing or developing Windows 10 drivers for this product.

If you choose to upgrade, some features, applications, and connected devices may not work as expected.

We buy Dell thinking they are the best, this is very disappointing.  Any ideas what to do?

I have had a big Problem with the video drivers in windows 10 and i have even tried compatibility mode as well and the same results all i can say is put windows 8 on there and leave it at that until dell comes up with windows 10 drivers this has been the day from *** for me i have had windows 10 on here for a few months now and all of a sudden the video driver's do not want to work .so i have come to the conclusion that windows 10 does not work on this laptop as of the present time  but windows seven will be fine.even tho Microsoft doesn't support it anymore.and like you i am very disappointed in dell they have some of the best computers that is why people buy the pc's they have i have an older dell XPS that i have had for a long time and windows 10 works great on that but it has Nvidia video drivers not Intel.

I'm the fool who caved to the pressure and installed Win 10 on my XPS 15 L501X.  Now I can't use my card reader, and it doesn't "see" my camera with USB cable connection. I can't identify the drivers that are missing (for Base System Device) , and the Dell System Detect doesn't work, I guess because Win 10 isn't supported. All else seems ok, but it's too late to go back to Win 7, I don't have the disk and I guess it's been > 30 days. I hope someone can help me.  I love this machine and don't want to give it up.

does this XPS still have the windows 7 sticker on the bottom of the case ,if it does i know a website ware ytou can download windows 7 even the dell version of windows 7 and install it and activate it if you still have the sticker and i would recommend writting down the product key from the sticker and keep it for yourself just in case my dell xps works just great with windows 10 my camera works and so does my fingerprint reader so don't give up just yet there is more than one way to skin a cat. go to this website and look under the operating system category and you can search there for windows 7.

You will download an ISO image if you can find ether power ISO or Magic ISO and burn the image to a disc and install it that way.
