Dell Touchpad not working on Inspiron N5030

I cannot find the driver for the touchpad on the DELL website. Control panel does not give me the option for it. It's driving me nuts to use the standard. Can anyone direct me to the driver for the N5030.

Thanks in advance

Hi TJones323,

Please find the link below from where the touchpad drivers can be downloaded.

http://dell.to/Qfyqeg

You can also try using the touchpad enable/disable button next to the F12 key on the top row of the keyboard.

I hope this helps

Please reply in case of any queries

is your Touchpad detected in device manager?

Also is there a hotkey on your keyboard which can turn on and off your touchpad? It will be a Fn (function) key and one of the F buttons. For example on my XPS 15 its Fn>F3 to turn on and off the touchpad

This worked. Thanks for the link. Now I I have another issue. My battery is not charging. I have reset it, tried other power supplies and nothing changes. The battery indicator says plugged in not charging. I have replaced the battery. When I unplug the power cord and plug it back in its says the AC power adapter type cannot be determined and to connect a 65W AC adapter or higher. I have verified the power supply is 65 W and compliant with the type to be used.

I have had this issue for quite some time and cannot find anyway to corrector rectify the issue,

Any idea's?

Try another Dell adapter - if that doesn't fix the problem, the power jack or mainboard is faulty.
