Dell Vostro 3400 Drivers for Windows 8.1
I've upgraded my Dell Vostro 3400 with Windows 8.1 from Windows 7.
But now I'm not being able to locate the drivers for my system.
On Dell's website I could see the support for Vostro 3400 till Windows 7 only.
Please provide the drivers for Windows 8.1 32 bit system for Vostro 3400.

Dell only provides drivers for the operating system that was on the computer when it was shipped. You need to find drivers online. Windows 8 provides many more drivers for hardware than previous versions. The Update Assistant tells you before installing win 8 if drivers are available for your hardware. Some older computers--especially laptops-- are not suitable for upgrading to win 8 since there are no 8.1 chipset drivers available. Since you run 32 bits version, it might be better to reinstall windows 7.
To find drivers online, open Device Manager and choose Update Drivers online for each device that needs drivers. If you cannot find any suitable drivers, reinstall windows 7.

Windows 7 drivers will do on the most part except for the likes of Bluetooth which integrate into Windows explorer. See my notes here:
