Dell XPS 12 9250 Sim Card slot

Greetings

I bought dell xps 12 9250 Signature edition from Microsoft Store. I opened the slot for Micro SD and Sim Card. I have the Micro SD slot empty and ready to use, but the Sim Card looks blocked or covered, so I don't know if that's okay or maybe the device I have doesn't support the Sim Card, if not what can I do?

If you didn't order the system with a WWAN card, you can't use the SIM slot.

If you need a 3G/4G connection, you'll need to contact your service provider for external wifi to PCS hot spot devices - there is no way to add support for WWAN and SIM to a system other than at the time the system is built.

it's not about 3G or 4G, just I'm confused because the micro sim look blocked or closed not like the micro SD empty and ready to use, so I don't know if I can remove that block or it just I can't use the slot

It looks like the answer is no - if you didn't order the system with the card, the wiring and SIM card connector are not present in the system.
