Dell XPS L501X has not been tested on Windows 8, however you could try installing the drivers in compatibility mode.

There are no WIN8 Specifc drivers so you would have to use Vista or WIN7 drivers and install in compatability mode.

Its so annoying that my xps l501x is slower than my cousin's inspiron after installing windows 8.... Dell when are you going to release the bios updates for xps l501x - Win8, if this is the service we get, am never gonna buy another dell product in my life...
